Adding Intune Assignments

To add Intune assignments for the specified application, perform the following steps.

To add Intune assignments:

  1. Create an Intune connection to a distribution system on the Server Options > Distribution System tab of the Options dialog box, as described in Creating Multiple Named Connections to Distribution Systems.

  2. Select an application in the tree. The Home Application View opens.

  3. Click the Intune Assignments tab.

  4. Click Add Assignment in the ribbon toolbar to open the Intune Assignment Wizard.

  5. On the Application Assignment for Intune Deployment panel, specify the following properties:

    Action TypeThe Action Type is set to Install by default. This is a non-editable field and cannot be changed.
    Install IntentChoose one of the following intent: Required Available for enrolled devices
    Group ModeChoose one of the following group mode: Included Excluded
    Assignment TypeChoose one of the following assignment type: Add Group All Users All Devices
    GroupSelect required group from the drop down list. This field populates only when Assignment Type is set to Add Group .
  6. After entering the above properties, click Finish.

  7. Upon successful completion, a newly added assignment will be listed under the Intune Assignments tab.

  8. To edit Intune Assignments— Follow the steps as described in Editing Intune Assignments.

  9. To delete Intune Assignments— Follow the steps as described in Deleting Intune Assignments.
